Takashi Onishi, President of City Planning Institute of Japan; Professor of Tokyo University

Takashi Onishi is a Professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo. He specialises in city planning and regional planning. His current research interests include urban engineering, regional planning, city planning and building planning. He obtained his PhD in Urban Engineering from Tokyo University in 1980. He received a Transportation Book Award (1981), Telecom Social Science Paper Award (1993), Japan Association for Planning Administration Paper Award (1995).
