活动综述
“CPN城市相关领域全球著名科研机构中国见面酒会”是由中国发展与规划国际论坛 (China Planning Network, CPN) 所发起并主办的、旨在推动东西方发展与规划领域深入交流合作的重要年度例行活动之一，至今已成功举办了两届：包括“CPN首届城市相关领域全球著名科研机构中国见面酒会（城市规划相关）(2006.6)”及“CPN第二届城市相关领域全球著名科研机构中国见面酒会（城市交通相关）(2007.8)”。
自该活动推出以来，得到了全球著名高校及权威科研机构的热烈响应和全力支持，成为中国乃至全球城市及交通领域规模和规格空前的教育及科研交流盛会，充分体现了在全球化的大背景下国际社会对中国史诗般的城市化进程的空前关注。
截至目前，已有包括麻省理工学院、哈佛大学、东京大学在内的全球近50个大学、院、系及科研机构报名参会，并相应派出院系领导或权威教授代表本机构参加见面酒会，介绍本机构最新科研成果、中国招生计划与要求、与中国相关机构进行合作的最新进展及前景预期，并与国内相关领域的教授、学者、学生进行面对面交流。
作为论坛的年度例行活动，“CPN城市相关领域全球著名科研机构中国见面酒会”已成为发展与规划领域业界学术领导的年度聚会及世界最前沿科学进展的年度权威发布平台，通过此平台，全方位关注中国城市化进程中的热点问题，整合海外关注中国城市发展与规划的高端智力资源，提供发展与规划领域世界最前沿技术解决策略，建立东西方发展与规划领域的权威交流机制。
